What was your first encounter with Shakespeare?
I think that my first encounter with Shakespeare was in high school when we read Macbeth and Julius Caesar. My first encounter with him on stage was when I was in Romeo and Juliet.

Do you prefer the Comedies, the Tragedies, the Histories or Romances?
My favorite would have to be the comedies. In one of my acting classes, I remember talking about how characters in a Shakespeare comedy think that they are living in a tragedy, and that really makes it more enjoyable for me.

What is your favorite play by Shakespeare and why?
One of my favorite plays by Shakespeare would have to be Julius Caesar. I like this play because of the history. I am really interested in Greek and Roman history and that play just really brings it to life for me.

Do you have anything in common with your character(s) in Henry V?
If anything, I think that I could relate to John Bates. His outlook is a bit pessimistic, however it is not without truth. I know that at first glance I can judge things pretty harshly sometimes. However, at the end of the day I still know what is right and what I am to do, just as John realizes in the play.

What is your favorite quote from (one of) your character(s)?

“Bar Harry England, who sweeps through our land,
And bring him our prisoner” – King of France

What excites you about this production?
The thing that excites me most about the production is the touring. I really like that we get to adapt Shakespeare for ourselves and then bring it to a younger generation.
